RII30715 - CERTIFICATE III MINE EMERGENCY RESPONSE & RESCUE
This qualification reflects the role of response and rescue team members who work in a mine site or a construction site, who perform tasks involving a broad range of skilled applications applied in a wide variety of contexts, which may involve application of some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures.

Typically participants will have 2+ years’ experience in mining activities. As this qualification is delivered in the workplace, it is critical that a client holds a current permanent positionor training place and is available to participate in training and assessment activities. This training is not suitable for novice employees looking to enter a workforce as a rescue officer.
